B2B Sales Account Manager - Freelance

Role Description:

Women-owned, ethical pet essentials brand is seeking a Sales Account Manager to create and drive sales initiatives to further expand its growing B2B business. The Sales Account Manager position is a part-time freelance remote position and will report directly to the owners. Flexible hours with minimum 10 hours per week required. Dedicated hours expected to grow with number of active accounts.

The primary role of the Sales Account Manager will be to grow our B2B business through the management and maintenance of 20+ existing small B2B accounts as well as developing a sales strategy to target and secure ‘reach’ retailers both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain 20+ existing B2B accounts
  • Build reach list of retailers to target and acquire
  • Lead majority of all B2B sales initiatives including cold outreach, marketplace maintenance, and product roll out
  • Oversee the sales pipeline
  • Set targets and track progress with measurable outcomes
  • Build and improve upon existing process - Work closely with owners and designers to collaborate on strategy and product roll out

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in wholesale and B2B sales
  • Strong analytical, computer skills, business acumen, broad understanding of finance, and vendor management
  • Strong Organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Persistent with great interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and hungry to succeed
  • Demonstrated track record of success in a similar role
  • Experience tracking and reporting performance to management
  • The ability to build a sales process and with documentation for trackable growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets
  • Must love dogs (and cats) 
  • Experience with mid-mass market retail experience preferred but not required
  • Passion for sustainability preferred but not required

Compensation Expectations:

  • This position is commission based – commission rate is tiered based on B2B account size.
    • With immediate book of business Awoo’s 20+ existing B2B accounts offer opportunity to produce commission from day 1.

 

 

 

 

Fulfillment Associate – Part time

Role Description:

Women-owned, ethical pet essentials brand is seeking a Fulfillment Associate to execute and improve fulfillment and shipping processes in our Jersey City, NJ location. The Fulfillment Associate position is a part-time position, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday) requiring 6-9 hours per week with potential to grow. This position reports directly to the owners.

The primary role of the Fulfillment Associate will be to work independently in our Jersey City, NJ location to ensure orders are processed, packaged, and shipped in a timely manner. The Fulfillment Associate will also be responsible for processing returns and refunds as well as maintaining and organizing inventory levels. We are looking for a detail oriented individual to help improve back-end processes while delivering 99% fulfillment accuracy for our ecommerce and dropship business.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately print packing slips and shipping labels and execute order fulfillment 3 days a week
  • Perform final quality check on all product before fulfillment
  • Maintaining an office space which is clean, safe, and readily stocked by participating in daily operations and maintenance including light cleaning, trash, organizing stock, etc.
  • Manage and track customer returns/refunds through existing Shopify software

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented- must be a double or triple checker
  • Extremely strong organizational and time management skills
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to own every challenge and roll your sleeves as needed
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform fulfillment job duties
  • Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
  • Must love dogs (and cats)
  • Experience preferred but not required:
    • Customer service, basic fulfillment, shipping logistics
    • Shopify dashboard familiarity
  • Access to a personal car would be a preferred but not required

Compensation Expectations:

  • $15-$20/hour
