Barkers and Brothers isn't just a store; it's a haven for dog lovers. The unique concept shop offers three distinct areas: a retail store, a dog-friendly café, and a self-service dog wash. It's the ultimate destination for pampering your furry friend.

As dog lovers ourselves, we loved the concept and couldn’t wait to work with Marie. We are proud for Awoo to be stocked in such a store and wanted to share with everyone so if you are in or going to Paris you can check it out for yourself. 

The Paw-some Story Behind Barkers and Brothers

Barkers & Brothers founder, Marie, was inspired by her own Akita Inu, Ralph, when she realized the need for a shop that catered to the stylish and discerning tastes of dogs and their owners. After facing challenges finding unique products for her beloved pup, she decided to create her own.

“Awoo has been one of the first brands we offered in our store. We fell in love with the colorful universe and we have never stopped working with [Awoo] since then!”

Of course we had to ask which Awoo products she loves the most.

“We have 2 favorite products: the Huggie Harness, which is one of our favorite harness because it's so light and comfy, and the Felt toys because it's so perfect for puppy teeth, but also for destructive dogs, dogs that need to maintain their teeth, etc. We couldn't recommend more!”

On Connecting with Customers

Marie's favorite part of running the shop is undoubtedly the constant interaction with dogs and their owners. “Also to meet customers in the street with their dogs wearing the products they bought in our place, and being so happy with them. That makes us proud!”

Challenges and Future Plans

While running an independent business comes with its challenges, Marie is passionate about making Barkers and Brothers a success. From handling everything on her own to differentiating herself from the competition, she's dedicated to providing a unique and unforgettable experience for dog lovers.
