What makes this mat so spooky, you ask? Picture this: you're in a bustling office, opening a tin of fish. Suddenly, curses seem to fill the air, and the scent lingers like a malevolent spirit. Spooky as all heck!

Now put on your witch's hat, grab your mixing bowls, and let's brew up a snack that'll have your pup howling with delight!

 

Ingredients:
- Sweet potato (1 medium-sized)
- Sardines (canned, unsalted, boneless, in water)
- Plain yogurt (unsweetened, unflavored)
- Natural peanut butter (unsalted, unsweetened)
- Optional: Blueberries (for an extra spooky touch)

 

Instructions:

 1. Prepare the Sweet Potato:

• Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
• Wash and peel the sweet potato, then cut it into small, bite-sized cubes.
• Toss the sweet potato cubes in a little bit of olive oil and spread them out on a baking sheet.
• Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until they are soft and slightly golden.

 2. Prepare the Sardines:

• Drain and rinse the sardines from the can to remove excess salt.
• Break the sardines into small pieces suitable for your dog's size.

 3. Assemble the Snuffle and Lick Mat:

• Spread the yogurt and peanut butter onto the snuffle mat in desired sections.

4.  Add Sweet Potato and Sardines:

• Place the roasted sweet potato cubes and sardine pieces into various sections on the mat. You can strategically place them to create a spooky pattern!

 5. Optional Spooky Touch:

• Add a few blueberries to resemble spooky eyes or decorations.

6. Freeze or Serve Fresh:

• You can choose to freeze the mat for a longer-lasting activity or serve it fresh right away.
